Following are the driving directions to Charleston Cricket Ground.
Directions
The US -23 route is straight forward but at times the road is a single lane.
(Approx 3 hrs)
The I -70 to I -77 S route is farther but a two lane road (approx 3 1/2 hrs)
Via I -70 E and I -77 S:
- Take I - 70 East and go for 80 miles (approx)
- Take I - 77 South and go for 130 miles (approx)
- Take I - 64 West and Take Exit 56 (Montrose Dr)
- Left on Montrose Dr.
- Then follow directions below (from Montrose Dr)
From Columbus Downtown:
- Take I - 71 S towards Cincinatti
- Take I - 270 East Towards Wheeling
- Take US 23 South towards Chillicothe.
- Then follow directions below (from US-23 South)
From I - 270 West of Downtown:
- Take I - 270 South/East.
- Go past I 71
- Take US 23 South towards Chillicothe.
- Then follow directions below (from US-23 South)
From I - 270 East of Downtown:
- Take I - 270 South/West
- Take US 23 South towards Chillicothe.
- Then follow directions below (from US-23 South)
From US 23 South:
- Take 23 South to Chillicothe.
- Get on 35 south to Winfield.
- Take 34 to join I - 64 at exit 39, Teays Valley.
- Go east on I - 64 into Charleston
- On I-64 E, take Exit 56, Montrose Drive.
- Turn right into Montrose Dr.
- Then follow directions below (from Montrose Dr)
From Montrose Dr:
- After you get on to Montrose Dr. (Right on exit from I-64E and Left on exit from I-64W),
- Turn immedaite left onto Kanawha Turnpike.
- NOTE: Kanawha Tpkie is a split road. It runs right by I-64. Watch out or you will end up on the ramp to I-64 E.
- Go 1 mile and the ground is on the right.
- There are tennis courts and a car park next to the road.
- The wicket is a mat wicket so when you bat please don't wear spikes.
- only one end of the wicket is used to bat.
