Every Year, at the Annual General Body Meeting, performance awards for the
preceding season are given away to recognize consistent and good performances
during the season in several areas of cricketing skill; and some special recognition awards.
Outstanding Performances For 2005 season
Best Bowler (2005 Season)
- Sekhar Srirangam - 32 Wickets, Economy Rate: 4.02
- Honourable Mentions - Amit Atrey (29 wickets), Vineel Katipally (27 wickets), Abhijeet Deshpande (23 wickets).
Best Batsman (2005 Season)
- Hari Sundaram - 595 Runs, Avg: 39.67, five 50s.
- Honourable Batsmen Mentions - Bharat Jataprolu (813 runs, 58.01), Ravindran Nithyanandham (361 runs, 24.06), Abhijeet Deshpande (331 runs, 23.64)
Best Fielder (2005 Season)
- Murthy Ayyagari - 23 dismissals (13 catches, 4 stumpings, 6 runouts)
- Honourable Fielder Mentions - Hari Sundaram (12 catches, 16 stumpings, 11 run outs), Bharat Jataprolu (15 catches, 9 ROs), Abhijeet Deshpande (16 catches, 1 run out).
Best Allround Performance - Bowling , Batting, Fielding, Catching
- Bharat Jataprolu - 813 Runs, 5 fifties, 1 hundred Average: 58.07, 17 Wickets, 15 Catches and 9 Runouts.
- Honourable Mentions - Abhijeet Deshpande (331 runs, 23 wickets, 17 dismissals), Hari Sundaram (595 runs, 39 dismissals)
CCC 2005 Star Performer Awards
- Most Improved Performance - Wilson Fernando - Displayed determination and eagerness to learn by coming back strongly taking 10 wickets in the season.
- Rookie of the Year - Sanjay Patel - Showed promising all-round cricketing skills.
CCC Special Awards
