Here's the NCC report for the game:
*by Deepak Visurakapalli - NCC Captain

I won a good toss (thought it was :-) ) for NCC and put CCC into bat.
NCC bowlers didn't quite have a dream start as they couldn't fully utilize
the conditions.
We couldn't hold on to the catches and allowed CCC to a flying start of 29
runs in 7 overs.
From there on it was all Abhijeet Deshpande. He was milking 1s and 2s with
the odd boundary.
He went on to make a brilliant 97*. He was ably supported by Srinath
Nanduri. Bharat Jataprolu didn't click in the finals.
CCC Bat: CCC made 178/4 in their 30 overs. NCC Bowl: Anando, Muddala,
Sanjeev Deepak and Yogi took 1 wicket each.

NCC lost it's first wicket (Srikanth) in the third over when the situation
was looking good. Varma and Benerji played sensibly
for a while and it was Varma's turn to come back again when he was looking
good after making 10 runs.
Somil and Benerji played for a while as Benerji took charge of the scoring
while Somil was rotating the strike and played cautiously.
Unfortunately Benerji got run out. At one stage we were in a comfortable
state with 68 runs in 13 overs and the decline started
as Muddala also got run out. Deepak Sanjeev played very well to score 22.
Pankaj played well for a while but in the
end we only managed 122 as wickets tumbled at regular intervals.

Bharat Jataprolu captained CCC and did a good job of managing his resources
well. As usual Srinath was at his best and
was the main destructive weapon CCC had as he scalped 5 wickets. Bharat
chipped in with 2 wickets. Overall CCC played good cricket and
have outplayed NCC and deservingly lifted the first ever NCC Champions Cup!
Congratulations to all you guys!!

Raj Sundararman was the umpire for the entire final game. He was very
strict and may be a little bit more strict on NCC I guess.
Overall he did an excellent job of umpiring the entire 60 overs. Thanks
Raj!

I would like to mention the positive spirit displayed by Anand Ramasubbu.
By fielding for both teams he has displayed good team
spirit and this is what I would like to see more in our guys. He didn't
mind at all even when he was sent in the end to bat. Well done Anand!
